Each door of the ENCORE line is made from quality galvanized steel, a multi-layer chemical treatment ensures protection against corrosion and a polyester based surface finish ensures solidity and durability. A unique high pressure heat based process ensures the perfect adhesion of metal surfaces to the insulating core of expanded polystyrene, eliminating the presence of air pockets, a phenomenon often encountered with injected doors.
Each section is insulated with a 1¾” thick expanded polystyrene core giving the product a stable R 8.9 insulating power for its entire lifetime. The assembly is beautifully finished with superior quality oven dried Canadian pine section connectors for an effective thermal barrier between sections and adequate hinge support. Finally, because its insulating component contains no CFCs, the ENCORE line is environmentally friendly and comes with a solid full coverage warranty.
