Our insulated units are sealed at the factory. We can change the insulated unit on premises for our windows, even if they are not under warranty anymore, but we don’t service other brands of windows. Should you need a service call, please fill out our After Sale Service form, and someone will contact you to book an appointment.

If your Vimat windows or doors are broken, we can send an on-site technician to repair or replace them regardless of whether they are still under warranty.

Contact our after-sales service for more details.

Certainly! If your Vimat door is in good condition, but you don’t like the old-fashioned glass pane, you can ask a Vimat representative to check for decorative glass replacements, which are definitely more cost-effective than needlessly replacing an entire door.

Find your local Vimat store, or contact us for an in-house evaluation.

When subjected to thermal shock, glass can sometimes break. This occurs when 2 areas of glass vary greatly in temperature. For example, if part of a window pane is fully exposed to sunlight while another part is cooling in the shadows, the sun-facing part expands while the shadow-immersed part contracts, causing a fissure and glass breakage, known as thermal shock.

Since it usually occurs during the first year following installation, Vimat offers a one-year warranty against thermal shock. See our certificate of warranty for more details.
